Cannabinoids –  Regulatory Considerations for Prescribing

NPs must be aware of the regulations in their jurisdictions because authority to prescribe cannabinoids that are controlled and have been ascribed a DIN differ across Canada. At this time, NPs in Canada are not prescribing medical marijuana under the ACMPR, even though they are listed as authorized prescribers under the NCPR.
