Jurisdictions are increasingly aware that the management of chronic pain is complex. Using psychoactive drugs to treat pain is complicated by the fact that patients with pain can and sometimes do have concurrent addictive disorders. This has resulted in a wealth of pain strategies across the country. Additionally, there are many patient resources available. This learning activity asks you to investigate available resources for pain. A resource list is provided on the following page to get you started.
